I’m Theresa and I live in the Hudson Valley of New York.
I’m an artist of many disciplines: Design for web, print & broadcast, Motion Graphics, portraiture, HTML/CSS and WordPress. On the crafting side, I can sew clothing, knit, crochet and embroider. My favorite projects often combine design with craft, and challenge me to think in ways I hadn’t before.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts & Animation from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. I moved to New York City where I worked in Broadcast Animation for Editorial for 4 years. I’ve worked for The History Channel, Macy*s, Sprint, and Verizon. Currently I freelance as a comics flatter and have worked on both Marvel, DC and indie books. I’ve flatted Wolverine: The Best There is, Spider-Island: The Amazing Spidergirl, Deadpool, Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam and Fear Itself: The Fearless, among other titles. Due to contractual obligations, I cannot show the majority of these in my portfolio, but look them up. I was the one who put down the flat colors onto the pages to make the colorists’ life easier!
This year I will launch Rockabirdie, an online store dedicated to alternative apparel, home decor and accessories, to indulge in my love of hand-making things with a snarky twist.
