I’m Theresa and I live in the Hudson Valley of New York.
I’m an artist of many disciplines: Design for web, print & broadcast, Motion Graphics, HTML/CSS and WordPress. I love learning about and using social media platforms. On the crafting side, I sew clothing, knit, crochet and embroider. My favorite projects often combine design with craft, and challenge me to think in ways I hadn’t before.
I have to admit, I’m a bit addicted to fonts and typography. I have at least 500 fonts installed on my computer.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts & Animation from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. I moved to New York City where I worked in Broadcast Animation for Editorial for 4 years. I’ve worked for The History Channel, Macy*s, Sprint, and Verizon. Currently I freelance as a comics flatter and have worked on both Marvel, DC and indie books. I’ve flatted Wolverine: The Best There Is, Spider-Island: The Amazing Spidergirl, Deadpool, Billy Batson and The Magic of Shazam and Fear Itself: The Fearless.
This year I will launch Rockabirdie, an online store dedicated to alternative apparel, home decor and accessories, to indulge in my love of hand-making things with a snarky twist.
